I tried journaling a few years back but always ended up staring at a blank page. It felt like I was forcing myself to write something meaningful. Recently I thought of giving it another try, but this time I’d love to have prompts that actually guide me. Sometimes I just need a little push, like a question about a recent win or a memory that makes me smile. Otherwise, I lose motivation fast. Has anyone found prompts that really spark self-reflection?

Sometimes the simplest prompts are the most powerful. Things like “what made you laugh today?” or “what moment gave you energy this week?” don’t seem deep at first, but they reveal a lot over time. When you read back through those entries, you start noticing what consistently brings you joy, and that’s where the real value of journaling shows up.
