Registered Nurse (RN)

The nurse maintains the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.



Assigns or delegates, within the scope of practice, education and experience, the responsibility for performance of nursing interventions to other persons for which that person has the necessary skills and competence to accomplish safely.

Radiologic Technologist

Cooperstown, ND |Ft / Pt OR prn

Dakota regional medical center

The Radiologic Technologist will be performing X-ray and CT modalities treating inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients. The incumbent may independently perform procedures on geriatric patients, adults, adolescents, and pediatric age groups and performs patient assessment within the scope of practice. The Radiologic Technologist works collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to perform exams.

Provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards to ensure optimal department functions: Demonstrates skills and knowledge in use of all X-ray/CT equipment and performance of all X-ray/CT protocols and procedures. Demonstrates technical proficiency in producing high quality images/scans demonstrating the requested anatomical part within the appropriate length of time for the procedure type. Demonstrates a satisfactory working knowledge of PACS.

Job responsibilities to include on-call rotation overnight, weekends, and holidays. Perform diagnostic radiology procedures to include mobile imaging along with CT exams. Perform basic diagnostic radiology tasks and aware of general radiology protocols. May perform electrocardiogram (EKG).

Medical Laboratory Tech (MLT)

Dakota Regional Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our clinical laboratory team. The MLT will perform routine laboratory testing and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and blood bank.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers.
• Accurately record, analyze, and report laboratory test results.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed and documented.
• Maintain laboratory safety standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and handling.

HIM Assistant

Position Summary:
Maintains and organizes patient/resident medical records in compliance with federal/state regulations and facility policies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with providers, nursing staff, patients and administration
• Participate in audits and quality improvement
• Retrieve, file, and manage medical records (electronic and paper)
• Assemble and review charts for completeness; track and correct deficiencies
• Release information per privacy regulations (Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, etc.)
• Respond to record requests and inquiries
• Maintain logs, files, and documentation

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Familiar with EHR systems (EPIC preferred) and computer skills (preferred)
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations (preferred)
• Administrative experience and knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)

Duties
• Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.

Experience
• Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar clerical role is preferred.

This position plays an essential role in providing high quality patient care and supporting clinic operations. The Clinic Nurse will work closely with a dedicated provider as part of a collaborative provider-nurse team, helping coordinate care, build strong patient relationships, and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with a provider as part of a provider-nurse care team to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.
• Room and prepare patients for provider visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and medication reconciliations.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Triage patient phone calls and address patient questions and concerns.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and diagnostic testing.
• Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and treatments as ordered.

• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and preventive health measures.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN or RN license in North Dakota or eligibility for licensure.
• LPN preferred; RN candidates will also be considered.

This position supports residents, patients, and families by helping coordinate services, assisting with discharge planning, providing emotional support, and connecting individuals with community resources.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist residents, patients, and families with social service needs and concerns.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker / Social Services Professional to provide services to both long term care residents and hospital patients.

 

The Social Worker will identify psychosocial, emotional, mental health, and discharge planning needs while coordinating services that promote dignity, independence, recovery, and quality of life.

This position works collaboratively with residents, patients, families, interdisciplinary staff, physicians, and community resources to ensure individuals receive the highest practical level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

 

Services are provided in accordance with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics and all applicable state and federal regulations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete psychosocial assessments and care planning

  • Provide emotional support, counseling, and crisis intervention

  • Coordinate discharge planning and community referrals

  • Advocate for patient and resident rights

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and community agencies

  • Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance

 

Qualifications

  • Current North Dakota licensure as an LSW, LCSW, or LICSW preferred

                               OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field including, but not limited to, sociology, gerontology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, psychology, or related field, with at least one year of supervised social work experience in a healthcare setting working with individuals

  • Experience in healthcare, hospital, or long-term care preferred

  • Strong communication, assessment, and care coordination skills
