The Radiologic Technologist will be performing X-ray and CT modalities treating inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients. The incumbent may independently perform procedures on geriatric patients, adults, adolescents, and pediatric age groups and performs patient assessment within the scope of practice. The Radiologic Technologist works collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to perform exams.

Provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards to ensure optimal department functions: Demonstrates skills and knowledge in use of all X-ray/CT equipment and performance of all X-ray/CT protocols and procedures. Demonstrates technical proficiency in producing high quality images/scans demonstrating the requested anatomical part within the appropriate length of time for the procedure type. Demonstrates a satisfactory working knowledge of PACS.

Job responsibilities to include on-call rotation overnight, weekends, and holidays. Perform diagnostic radiology procedures to include mobile imaging along with CT exams. Perform basic diagnostic radiology tasks and aware of general radiology protocols. May perform electrocardiogram (EKG).
